Christmas Is A Wonderful Time of the year. We find our selves smiling more around the holidays. The Children’s laughter is a little more louder and they have a little more bounce in their step. But do they know the real meaning of Christmas.
Do they know its the birth of Jesus.
The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus who lived in Israel 2,000 years ago and who died on the cross for our sins (1 Corinthians 15 1-4, 1 Peter 2:24). More specifically, when we use the word “meaning,” we’re talking about the purpose of His birth that Christmas is supposed to celebrate. His purpose was to enter into the world and become one of us that He might deliver us from our sins. Jesus is not just any man. He is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14, Colossians 2:9). He is the second person of the Trinity who by being born of the Virgin Mary was made under the law (Galatians 4:4) and subject to the same temptations and limitations that we are. Christmas is the celebration of the historical event where God entered into our world so that He might display the perfection and holiness of God and that through His work of living perfectly and also dying on the cross for our sins that all who trust in Him would be saved from the righteous judgment of God.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him,” (John 3:16-17).
Jesus is the reason for the season
Jesus gives meaning to Christmas. Jesus, who was God in flesh, perfect, pure, holy, and who died on the cross and rose from the dead, is the one who gives the true meaning to Christmas.
I hope that everyone takes the time to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas, I hope that everyone, slows down and enjoys their time with family and friends. I hope that we can all look up to the heavens and thank God for all your blessings. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOUR FAMILY
I have just comeback from watching the movie CREED, With Sylvester Stallone and Micheal B Jordan.
This is the last movie to the Rocky Series.
I believe this movie wasnt promoted as much as it should have been.
This is what Creed is about:
Adonis Johnson is the son of the famous boxing champion Apollo Creed, who died in a boxing match in Rocky IV (1985). Adonis wasn’t born until after his father’s death and wants to follow his fathers footsteps in boxing. He seeks a mentor who is the former heavyweight boxing champion and former friend of Apollo Creed, the retired Rocky Balboa. Rocky eventually agrees to mentor Adonis. With Rocky’s help they hope to get a title job to face even deadlier opponents than his father. But whether he is a true fighter remains to be seen…
This is truly an amazing movie if you’re a Rocky fan. Adonis’s heart to fight and prove himself, and Rocky’s fight to save them both is an amazing story of fight, determination, and that blood does not always mean family.
I do not want to say too much about the movie as its one you need to see for yourself.
Im sure the question will be, will there be another and my answer is, you have to see the movie to make your own judgment as I believe its going to range in answers.
I hope there is another one. I love the Rocky Series so I hope there is. Im sure Stallone has it in him to do another. But lets hope he don’t wait another 9 years.
Here are the movies in order and the years. There is 39 years between the first Rocky and Creed. I was 4 years old when the first movie came out, so for me this is a life time series. And I have seen all of them. More than once other than Creed.
Rocky 2 (1979)
Rocky 3 (1982)
Rocky 4 (1985)
Rocky 5 (1990)
Rocky Balboa (2006)
I Give this movie a 10/10 it’s an amazing movie well worth the money and if some one asked me to go see it again, I would pay to see it again. Well Done to all who had taken a part in the movie. Sylvester Stallone’s still got it.

Do you belive in Santa? Do you still have your Christmas spirit?
I love the Chritmas season, I love the joy it brings the children and how their eyes light up when they see Santa in the stores or on the parade routes that go threw the cities. I think Santa brings out the child in us all. Believing in the mirical of him.
I do not like the Commercial aspect that the stores have made, that we must spend lots of money for Santa, but I love the magic of Santa.
Do you call him Santa, Chris Kringle or is he still Father Christmas?
Santa has evolved over the years. His looks have been pretty much the same its just that his coats have changed.
I hope that what ever you belive this holiday season that you take a a moment and watch the eyes of a child when they see Santa, its a magial moment. The twinkle in their eyes is like the twinkle in Santas eyes.
Here are some classic pictures of Santa.
May you all find JOY AND HAPPINESS This Season!

What are your traditions around Christmas and the Holiday Season?
Every year I put my Christmas tree up with my two nieces. I have been doing this since they were young. They are now 22 and 17. We do it when the Santa Clause Parade is on in Toronto and if we cant do it due to being busy I will tape it and we watch it while we put up the tree. Some years we bake as well. We have a hot drink and have some great laughs and make memories that I hope they cherish as much as I do. I also get them an ornament that they can put on my tree so that when they get married they will get the ornaments to put on their tree.
I hope that even after they are married that they will still come and keep our memories and traditions going. I also did this my my grandmother, so having this tradition with these two has been something that we look forward to every year.
We also go to my brothers every Christmas Eve, and then we go to my brothers in the morning to watch them open their gifts. And then we go back for dinner and spend quality time with loved ones.
So what are your traditions? Do you have anything that is unique to your family.
Happy Holidays to Everyone.
